After the story, we will use an interactive “Door Closing Prayer” developed by Everett Cox of Deliverance Ministries (Oklahoma), that will relinquish the right of the evil spirits to harass, possess, or otherwise interact in your life. This establishes that the legal jurisdiction of your body, life, and home then belong to Jesus Christ.

If we are dealing with a case of demonic possession, it is important for us to speak with the actual human, in order for us to ask permission to cast out the evil spirit. We will not allow the demon to monopolize the conversation, but will demand, in the name of Jesus, to speak with the human by name, and will ask the human what he or she wants. “Sally, do you want the demon to be cast out? Do you want to be set free by Jesus?” We may get interrupted at first by the demon who will try to assert his jurisdiction, but we will press on and will demand to speak with the human person. When we get a positive response, that is, if the will of the human is to be set free, this will give legal authority for us to cast out the demon, and the demon will have no choice but to leave. We will win.

We will administer Holy Communion to you, using unleavened bread and grape juice.

We will place a portrait of Jesus in your home (an official canvass print of the work called “Prince of Peace” by artist Akiane, as Jesus appeared to her at age 8).

We will give you a Bible to read. Bible reading is crucial!

We will give you Praise Music to play, or help you download some on your device. This is so important, because evil spirits cannot stand to hear Jesus be praised. They cannot tolerate listening to Praise Music. They will not want to be there!

We will cleanse the home with water, incense, bells, prayer, and declarations. While the water, incense, and bells are not crucial, and we could easily go without them and still be successful, we often use them to illustrate on the physical plane what we are declaring to be true spiritually.

Water represents washing by the Holy Spirit, smoke from the incense represents our prayers going up to God. Bells peal out the news that this is a new era in your life and home. Prayer is indeed crucial, and we will always use prayer and declarations. We will, with joy, claim the space for Jesus Christ and His use. We will show you how to participate with us. We will decree that there is no longer any legal claim for evil entities to remain there, and legally evict them.

We will leave tent cards in rooms, reiterating this legal claim of ownership of Jesus Christ:

“Because {Your Name} has given his/her life to Jesus Christ, this home is now dedicated to and under the jurisdiction of Jesus Christ, the Holy One of God, Yeshua HaMashiach, the Prince of Peace, the King of Kings. Enemies be gone in the name of Jesus! {Your Name} belongs to Jesus!”

We will prescribe a specific schedule of Bible reading, and Prayer Journaling, and the use of Praise Music. While we warn against the pitfalls of organized religion, we do encourage church attendance for reasons of corporate worship and general encouragement. Assembling with other believers is especially important as we see the day approaching of the return of Jesus!
